A musical tribute to youth, with radiant lighting illuminating the future. From October 23rd to 24th, Future of Intelligence, a musical produced by Hunan Performance Group and created by Hunan Song and Dance Theatre, premiered at the Hunan Grand Theatre.

Using FINE ART’s FINE 1800 PERF, FINE 1400 PERF, FINE 1700L WASH PERF, FINE 470 BSW, and FINE 608 BATTEN lighting systems, the production delivered stunning visual effects, blending technology and art into an audiovisual feast. It celebrated the mechanical beauty of industry and the ingenuity of intelligent manufacturing, offering audiences a glimpse into the wonders of future technology.

Stage Technology at Its Finest

On stage, a group of ambitious young pioneers embarks on a dream journey to a "city of the future," embodying the vigor and responsibility of their generation.

Xie Yan and Xiao Lulu, leading talents in the new-energy intelligent excavator team, push their prototype "Diggie" through extreme R&D and testing challenges. Their breakthroughs ultimately propel China’s intelligent manufacturing onto the global stage.

Rooted in Hunan’s "Three Highs and Four New Initiatives" strategy, Future of Intelligence highlights high-quality development and tech-driven innovation. It vividly portrays a team overcoming obstacles under the leadership of visionary scientists, achieving milestones in international rescue missions and contributing to the Belt and Road Initiative. The musical showcases the relentless spirit of Hunan’s "engineering machinery legion" in pursuing intelligent, green, and global advancements.

A lab’s tense countdown echoed like a heartbeat; the robotic excavator "Diggie" made a grand entrance as a steel behemoth from the future; and researchers in sleek outfits moved dynamically under kaleidoscopic lights, creating living art.
