Opening Address: From Filling a Gap to Leading the Future with Intelligence

At the opening ceremony of the study program, Li Liping, Deputy General Manager of FINE ART, reviewed the company's independent innovation journey in lighting control. In 2012, FINE ART launched the first large‑scale lighting console with wholly‑owned intellectual property in China, filling a gap in the industry. Over the past decade, TEKMAND has consistently focused on serving professional troupes, theatres, and venues with the highest and most refined lighting requirements, continuously contributing technological strength to China's stage lighting through self‑developed solutions.
Full Family Debut: From Flagship to Palm‑Sized, Covering Every Scenario

During the training session, Wang Peizhong, Product Manager of the Console Division at FINE ART, presented the complete TEKMAND lighting console product matrix in detail: the flagship AI‑powered G3 series, the compact performance‑oriented E3 series, the lightweight and portable D series, and the palm‑sized Nano console. From large theatres to mobile performances, TEKMAND offers a comprehensive product lineup to meet the lighting control needs of different stage scales. At the training session, Wang Peizhong highlighted the intelligent AI technologies integrated into the TEKMAND consoles: depth‑image programming, AI Panda, and real‑time 3D engine simulation – a series of cutting‑edge features that impressed the students. The tactile feel of the full‑color backlit touch‑sensitive dual‑ring encoders and the convenience of the motorized dual‑flip screens made the intelligent experience tangible in every detail.
Hands‑on Practice: From Understanding to Mastery

After the lectures, the students moved to a more hands‑on practical session. Led by product managers, they entered the exhibition hall and personally operated the powerful functions of the TEKMAND consoles. Dual front and rear cameras, infrared modules, fingerprint recognition, depth‑image recognition, voice control – a wealth of AI interaction features encouraged the students to try them out, experiencing the efficiency and convenience brought by intelligent consoles. From classroom theory to fingertips, the students found a window of dialogue between technology and art in the world of TEKMAND.

This industry‑academia study practice between the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts and FINE ART forged a deep connection between TEKMAND and the future stage artists. We believe that as more young students understand and master intelligent lighting control technology, China's stage arts will undoubtedly shine with even brighter brilliance in the new era.
